Anchorum St. Vincent

2008

In 2008, Anchorum (then SVHSupport) embarked on a ten-year mission working in tandem with CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. Through collaboration and commitment, the team successfully grew from four clinics to more than 25 regional primary and specialty clinics, expanding service areas as well as patient capacity.

In one decade, this partnership achieved the goals of improving clinical quality at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. Today, the hospital is now rated as one of the safest hospitals in New Mexico and the only hospital in the state that partners with the Mayo Clinic Network.

2018

In 2018, Anchorum began working on a second strategy that focused on improving the Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) through grantmaking and impact investing. In five years, we deployed $42.1 million in grants and community investments.

This new strategy was so successful and the improvements in CHRISTUS St. Vincent so impressive that we collectively decided to allow CHRISTUS Health to do what they do best, so we can refocus our energies and resources to develop healthy communities.

2023

On August 31, 2023, Anchorum reorganized our ownership in CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center and, through this transaction, funded the creation of the new Anchorum Health Foundation.
