Olivia Sloan

Vice President of Native Health Partnerships

Olivia joined Anchorum in July 2024, bringing deep experience and a strong commitment to Native American health equity. Philanthropy offers her another avenue to partner with and serve Native communities, a focus that has shaped her entire career. Olivia has worked with Indigenous communities across the United States from Alaska to Arizona to Washington, D.C., and has collaborated with Tribes nationally and internationally on policy, research, and public health.

Born and raised in Santa Fe, Olivia is Diné and Tohono O’odham and is the granddaughter of Arthur Hubbard Sr., a Navajo Code Talker and the first Native person to serve in the Arizona State Senate.

Olivia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a focus on international relations from the University of Arizona and a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. After losing her father to cancer, she expanded her work to include cancer research, earning a nursing degree from Santa Fe Community College. She went on to manage the research program at a community-based cancer center, advancing patient-centered care and authoring grants that strengthened Native patient navigation and access to care.
