

Dr. Frantz Melio

Dr. Frantz Melio is passionate about finding new and innovative ways to provide affordable, accessible, and excellent health care to the patient populations he serves. It is this deep focus and dedication that he brings as Anchorum’s Vice-President of Health Strategies.
Having spent 25 years in clinical Emergency Medicine and as the former President of Physician Practice and Chief Medical Officer at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, Dr. Melio acutely understands the local and statewide health issues facing New Mexicans.
He has held senior leadership positions in nonprofit and for-profit health systems, universities, medical staff, medical groups, and hospitals. He has also been Chief Medical Officer of a private investment firm. Dr. Melio has also served on physician practice and hospital boards, several of which he has chaired.
As a volunteer and medical advisor, he has served on state and county healthcare committees including North Carolina Trauma Site Surveyor, New Mexico Trauma Foundation Board, Vice-Chair of New Mexico Trauma Advisory and Systems Stakeholder Committee, New Mexico Governor’s HB20 EMS Taskforce, and Santa Fe County Health Policy and Planning Commission.
