Richard Luarkie
Richard Luarkie is drawn to the duality of Anchorum’s mission: the call to “build healthy communities” is both simple and complex. With experience in facilitation, strategy development and execution, and his ability to build strategic relationships, Luarkie feels compelled to help address this mission.
Luarkie currently serves as president and CEO of Blue Stone Strategy Partners and has held a variety of local and national leadership roles, including as a board of trustees member for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian and has served two terms as the Governor for the Pueblo of Laguna, where he was born and raised.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of New Mexico and an MBA from New Mexico State University. He also holds a Ph.D. from Arizona State University’s School of Social Transformation.
